The Founder's Story
Before entering real estate, Jeffrey Vidal served 14 years in the U.S. Coast Guard. Coast Guard culture doesn't tolerate half-truths or hidden agendas โ you do the job right, or people get hurt. That same standard now defines how Mewawa Group operates.
After leaving active duty, Jeffrey built a real estate career across several of San Diego's most respected brokerages, earned an MBA in Marketing from National University, and eventually earned his place at Big Block Realty โ one of San Diego's largest independent brokerages. Over 100 transactions later, the mission hasn't changed: give people honest options and let them choose.
Why We Started Mewawa Group
Mewawa Group was born out of a specific frustration. Too many San Diego homeowners in difficult situations โ facing foreclosure, going through divorce, managing inherited properties, dealing with homes they couldn't afford to repair โ were being steered by agents and investors toward whatever option paid the agent or investor the most money.
That's backwards. The client's financial outcome should drive the recommendation, not the advisor's commission structure. Our Fee Transparency Commitment
